See work by the Femme Project at Girls Who Paint
The Femme Project is pleased to announce the upcoming exhibition "Bloom Where You Are Planted" curated by Girls Who Paint — a woman-owned gallery and art space in Kensington, Maryland. The exhibition will feature work by 25 US-based artists exploring themes of spring, rebirth, and growth. To 'bloom where we are planted' calls for us to flourish despite our circumstances and to become the best version of ourselves. The self portrait by Heather M, "Garden of Eve," will be on display along with other works ranging from paintings, collage, mixed media, and photography. The show opens with a reception on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 5:30-7:30 PM. The exhibition "Bloom Where You Are Planted" will be on display from May 17, 2024 through July 18, 2024.

About Girls Who Paint
Girls Who Paint strives to promote more artistic opportunities, primarily for women, in our community and beyond. We desire to make art more accessible to a wider audience. Our mission is to foster a culture of community by providing a space for more women artists to be seen and heard. We aim to create a network for artists that offers support and encouragement through exhibitions, exposure, pop-ups, artists gatherings, retreats, and much more.
We are NOT your typical gallery space. This space is owned and operated by two dynamic professional female artists.
Our focus is to provide a vibrant and welcoming space; to promote underrepresented artists while engaging the local community by providing them access to emerging, mid-career and established artists.
