2020 has been a year. Despite the fact that Trump is out and Biden is in, we still have a long way to go towards improving the condition for women. Our bodies, our sexuality, and our rights are still very much under threat.
Like many of us, I have been sheltering in place and masking up during the Pandemic. It has given me the opportunity to take stock of my work, my life, my relationships, and our world. One of the core tenets of the Femme Project is to improve the state of what is and what can be. Part of this effort is giving back.
The Giveaway
This holiday season, I encourage all of you to take stock and to engage in tangible action in your communities. You can volunteer. You can march. You can donate to a worthy cause. This Giving Tuesday, I am going to incentivize your charitable spirit by giving away free #ResoectHerSex merch to anyone who donates to the Dove Center, an organization here in my home state of Maryland that provides resources to individuals whose lives have been shattered by domestic violence and/or sexual assault. I have set aside #RespectHerSex Action Packs and #RespectHerSex t-shirts that you can receive free of charge for giving back. I will also pick up the cost to ship the items to you (only for people residing in the United States)!
Here is how it works
On, or before, Giving Tuesday, December 1st, make a donation of $35 or more to the Dove Center.
Take a screenshot of the confirmation email that you get from PayPal via the Dove Center.
DM the screenshot to @thefemmeproject or @RespectHerSex via Instagram, or use my contact form to let me know that you have made the donation. I will reply to your email and you can send me the confirmation image.
I will contact you to get your contact information and preferences on your free merch (choice of action pack or t-shirt, while supplies last).
With a donation of $100 or more, you will receive a t-shirt or action pack AND a signed copy of my book, Madame X Book 1.1!
Shipping is free to all domestic U.S. addresses. Unfortunately due to the variable costs of shipping outside the United States, international orders will incur shipping charges. I will provide estimates for those interested in international delivery.

About the Dove Center
The Dove Center provides safety, advocacy, and counseling to individuals whose lives have been shattered by domestic violence and/or sexual assault, and strives to expand public awareness of those issues. To learn more about the Dove Center and their impact, visit their website at www.gcdovecenter.org. Keep in mind, a $50 donation can pay for one bed-night in the emergency shelter. A $25 donation can pay for an adult counseling session. A $20 donation can pay for a child’s counseling session or a court accompaniment for a Protective Order.
